i feel like pokemon red was the first game i ever played that started the whole process of saving, then saving again, then saving a third time before turning it all the way off because you werent sure if the first or second save actually took
The first time I beat the elite four + Gary, my battery light started to flash and I started to freak out because I didn’t save. The credits are scrolling and such and I’m bashing the A button to skip so I can save and celebrate normally
