Hmm, I had never noticed that Tywin always wore the pin on the right, like Qyburn, whereas Ned and Kevan always wore theirs on the left. And, unless I'm mistaken, Tyrion wore it on the right when he was Joffrey's Hand but on the left as Dany's.
Makes one wonder if the costume department put more thought into this than one might assume.
