My mom has health problems and her cognitive function is not very good. I have noticed myself getting frustrated with her recently, and it makes me feel shitty for getting upset because I know there isn’t anything I can do about it. Your post gave me insight on how to approach with aging loved ones. Thanks, homey.
You should do yourself a favor and record a lot of his old memories. Have them talk about old family, friends and things that happened in his life. Document that stuff. I wish I had the chance to do that with my dad.

Coming from a dad kind of going through what yours is, believe me you're doing the right thing.
