I like when he comes back for the final episode he's not as exuberant as he usually is since he has made a family and is surrounded by friends which is what he's always wanted.
Steven Carrell may be one of the best actors I've seen on TV. I know it's goofy to say it, but he did such an amazing job convincing us that he was a complete moron. And yet, whenever you see him in these kind of fleeting glances off camera, he seems so calm, so collected, and just his eyes and facial expressions seem so deep.
The fact that he could hide all of that to show us a lovable, bumbling idiot is truly remarkable.
