I live in a province where all our buses connecting our rural areas just shut down (almost a million km2) and barely anything has been done about it. It boggles my mind; how are folks suppose to move around with no car, and now no buses?
Hey, I lived just down the road from there when they shut the station down! It was actually a few stations that they shut down, and there were a number of students from the area commuting to high school in a nearby town. There was only two stops per day at the station: one before school to pick the kids up, and one after school to drop them off.

Lol, meanwhile my city with 60000 citizens has no train connection because it would be too expensive to repair the already existing railroad tracks
