Being greedy and wealthy is a fucking addiction. Just like a heroine addict or a meth head. Neither of the latter give a fuck what bridges they burn, what destruction they leave behind, how their greedy impulses to do what ever it takes to acquire another hit hurts, destroys, or damages someone's life. No fucks given - just their hit. Being wealthy is no different. Acquisition triggers the exact same pleasure receptors in the brain as other addictions such as food, alcohol and crack. In Humanity's case - everyone has the exact same addiction and the top 1% sold it to us to get their next hit. Problem is the damage caused was the ONLY FUCKING PLANET WE LIVE ON! But be damned if they lose a damn penny. Everyone else can burn, they'll be ok. Most of them are damn near the age of death anyways. Like they care - as long as they make another million, remain in power and evade paying their fair share. Wow I'm angry. Good night.
I absolutely love the way we completely fell for it and really are going to let Amazon slide on taxes forever now that they've raised their wage to 15. Granted, they were never going to pay anyways, but still.
