I hate that they are making it illegal for teens to trick or treat in some areas.. my hometown already put something out though, saying that if a teen knocks on your door, you should just give them candy since it is better for them to be trick or treating than to be out doing drugs :)'
Edit: Oh wow.. glad my first highly upvoted comment wasn't something embarrassing.. Anyways, not 100% sure if it is actually illegal anywhere yet, I heard certain areas were at least trying to limit it. For the drugs thing, my hometown has a major drug issue especially among the younger age groups, in big part because my area is quickly becoming a very popular area for people to grow marijuana. Overall though I think the drug issue has always been there, it is just either worse now, or we hear more about it due to social media. I doubt trick or treating will actually help stop kids from doing things they shouldn't, but we should do anything we can to help, I guess?
