It's so strange to me that something like that ends up in a place like that.

Imagine the Statue of Liberty or something like that being buried years from now.

I don't get how we got so disconnected from their peak to this. It's not like it was 10,000 years ago.

I wonder how many big discoveries are out there waiting, like Tutankamon’s tomb. Maybe right now Genghis Khan is quietly waiting in darkness, underground, surrounded by riches and priceless historical artifacts. Maybe Alexander The Great is also somewhere out there waiting to be found
