When I was a kid I had this red polo shirt I wore all the time. Like 10 years old and I fully remember a man in Wilkos asking me where the bird seed was. Being a shy and helpful kid I decided the easiest thing to do was to take a wander with the fella to the bird seed, rather than to risk a confrontation by saying that I, a 10 year old child, did not work at Wilkos
I used to wear a hi-vis over my motorbike gear and the self checkout guy thought I was the trolley guy, always asking if I'd finished my shift, asking if it had been busy in the car park etc. I felt too awkward to correct him so went a long with it.
I did see the trolley guy once and to be fair we were a similar build, age, and hairstyle. Good looking chap he was...
