Rick and Morty has a quicker wit, with better surprise gags and far better slapstick. Futurama has better fridge humor, the kind of humor you have to think about and then go, "oh THATS clever."
I would say Futurama is far more science-y and cerebral, but Rick and Morty is more abstractly creative, and actually more philosophical.
Both are surprisingly emotional, but they take polar opposite approaches to emotions: Futurama preaches that everything you do matters, whereas Rick and Morty preaches that nothing you do matters.
And I'd rather hang out with a Futurama fan than a Rick and Morty fan any day, though ideally someone who can see the good in both shows.

Well, one show does have a mad scientist that almost always brings good news.

THESE SHOWS ARE POINTLESS DRIBBLE. THE ONLY SHOW WORTH VIEWING IS THE ADVENTURES AND TIMES OF THE HYPNOTOAD. ALL HAIL HYPNOTOAD.
