So I legit did not connect sketch artist to crime solving until I opened up the comments.
I figured she was just an artist by trade who would like sketch landscapes or people on the boardwalk and also had a tendency to solve crimes in her spare time. Like murdershewrote or a mystery inc member.

My dad is friends with her! When he retired from HPD as a homicide detective she drew a life size version of him. She’s super nice and awesome.
