Oof that hurt. I used to repeat the same thing over and over but people didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was talking and they interrupted me like it's normal, some even simply left in the middle of the conversation while I was talking to them without a word like I wasn't even talking to begin with. Then I just stopped talking altogether, and everyone was like "wHy aRE YoU so siLenT? Don't YOu waNt tO TalK to uS??"
And then you end up just standing there while the rest of the group keeps talking and eventually forgets you’re there because you’re not saying anything so you just say “oh sorry guys I gotta go” but no one notices so you just stand there for a couple more seconds waiting for someone to say goodbye until you just eventually walk away without anyone acknowledging your existence hahahahaha who can relate
