They really have a giant throbbing veiny stiffy for striking down Roe V Wade no matter the cost, huh?

Is this how people get their political news/opinions these days? Un-sourced tweets?

I'm not saying this story isn't true (it likely is), but how about we link to news articles that tell what happened in an unbiased way?

I found the following article, but I'm having trouble finding more. Can anyone help?

Family Sues in Police Slaying

This isn’t really very accurate. The appellate court said there should be a new trial because the jury found for the cop on some counts and against the cop on other counts in a way that just didn’t make logical sense. Basically, they said the cop was justified in using force, but awarded money to the plaintiff anyway (though a small fraction of the amount sought) because the initial stop was negligent. But the law says cops can’t be liable for mere negligence. Both sides appealed the verdict, and the appellate court (including BK) ruled for the defense on some counts and the plaintiff on others.

It was a highly technical legal analysis, and resulted in a new trial, not in the claims being thrown out.

Fuck Kavanaugh, but for actual reasons not made up ones.
