Recently I've been rummaging around in my brain trying to think of the end game of this whole education and student loan crisis. As in what happens when all the older ones who profited off these loans and skyrocketing tuitions have died off? Another question I have come up with is, just when is it going to stop? At what point are prospective students going to say "yeah fuck that" when looking at the prices. Surely it isn't here yet if you have people (albeit some) still agreeing to pay upwards of $50k per year (just a hypothetical value not sure what the actual avg price per year is). I seriously doubt the colleges thought they were going to be able to get away with this tbh. I fear they are only getting away with it because the government lets them.

Me, young, bright eyed: Hey Professor, so you're going to teach me programming?!

Old, tired Professor: No, my job is to generate research for the University so that it can incorporate it into its marketing plan. You'll be learning from Youtube while I test you on irrelevant information.

Also colleges: constantly asking for money after I graduated. Dudes, I'm still paying off my student loans. I'm not going to give you MORE money.
