Lake Irwin has got to be one of the prettiest campgrounds I’ve ever stayed at, and this is especially true during wild flower season. This composition was taken near Irwin lodge from a spot I had scouted out the evening before, and overlooks the valley and lake seen below. The actually campground is in that forest of trees to the right side of the image. Fun fact, this image is from the 2nd of 4 sunrise shoots I did at this location during my stay here. I wanted to get the best conditions possible, and I’d say this one isn’t too shabby. Another fun fact, this image is a vertorama composed of 6 separate shots panning upwards. What a beast of an edit!

This is the most beautiful place in the world. Just wish the real estate around the area was more affordable.
