What I find interesting is that most pics cut off the mountain on the left--that's Pyramid Peak, which is one badass mountain in its own right, and is a Fourteener, as are the Bells. Pyramid has infamously bad ground, as do the Bells. A guy fell a thousand feet down Pyramid a year or two ago and lived.

Was there this weekend and the lake is so low. And Crater Lake, a bit higher up the mountain, is completely dry. The trees were stunning though
