Hundreds of thousands of military members? Like we base them there or historically?
I looked it up and it's around 116k historically which is pretty damn high. Just in case people were wondering like I was.
Edit- I should have linked the website earlier. It's at the bottom of this DoD article. Funny enough a Fox News Article says over 200k. I trust the DoD a bit more. But that whole DoD piece on Puerto Rican military service is a nice read.
I learned about the medical supplies and IV bags being supplied from Puerto Rico after the hurricane hit. We use lipid emulsion bags to treat warfarin poisoning that only came from PR so we had to scramble to get them from Europe instead after the disaster.
