Agreed. Getting laid off with no severance is awful ... I got blown away during the recession and still got one. Didn't care much about Telltale but that detail alone makes me hurt for everyone who got let go.
With Ubisoft taking AC into RPG territory, a part of me sees this not only as a sweet thing to do for the developer community BUT...snatch up some of that good Telltale writing talent.
