That is so nice. Every time I read something like this it makes me wish I was more aware at the time that all my teachers were human beings who were working very hard with very little given in return. I imagine even a small gesture would have meant a lot to them in feeling appreciated in their work.
I remember once my class passed a note around that said "Why is there footprints on the ceiling?" to see how many people would look up. Then the teacher got the note and the moment she read it, the whole class just went quiet, waiting in anticipation. Then she looked up, and honestly it was the funniest shit to our 11 year old minds. At least she was a good sport about it.
