The legend from the Kiowa and Lakota is that a giant bear was chasing a group of young girls and they climbed onto a rock and prayed to the great spirit and it rose up and the sides are claw marks from the bear and the girls where turned into the Star constellation Pleiades
You can’t grasp it with this picture. There is nothing that looks even remotely like this in the area. Then suddenly this huge stone tower like nothing you have ever seen emerges from the earth. It’s unreal.
