Put a GoPro on my nephew for our wedding video. We got the ceremony in a wide fisheye angle, then forgot to turn it off and got footage of him cleaning up trash and letting people in front of him for the cookie table line. He was doing this all unasked and I know he's going to be a nice person grown up.
Then we got a bunch of first-person view footage of him shoving cookies in his face until his mom came by and turned it off haha.
My son recently started kindergarten and I had been waiting at the playground with him until the bell rings but decided he was ready to go wait by himself. I didn’t tell him but I only moved the car so he couldn’t see me and I watched him make polite conversation with another child’s mom and then shook her hand. I’ve never seen him shake anyone’s hand before and it certainly made me laugh!

I am, at this moment, watching my 12 year-old across the park act like a total jackass with his group of friends. It stings a little. Was I like this?
