Me and this lady shared the same train every morning going into London. She was a bit older with a sort of stiff upper lip British lady demeanor. We never really said a word for months. One day the train was totally packed and she grabbed my coat pulled me over, and yanked open the drivers carriage door where the two carriages meet and asked me to help open it, it was tough to get open and she says to me get in it's better in here than waiting for the next one. We shared the drivers carriage the rest of the drive and had this sort of odd pleasant conversation. She had no idea I had a Canadian accent until then and she explained she was worried about losing her job in the financial crisis and losing her home. I saw her less and less ove the next month and we didnt really talk again aside from a smile. I lost my job in the financial crisis and never saw her again. I wonder what happened to her.

There is a taco truck that drives down the I-10 in Houston at 830 AM every day in front of me. Every day I give them a little wave in my head.
