Yo can we just take a second to remember and mourn the loss of soda cap instant win games? Used to be so exciting when you'd open one and it would say "free coke" under the cap.
Now they just have events where they put a code under the cap, and you go online and register an account and enter the code for an "entry" or whatever. But, the prizes are drawn randomly after you enter, so there is no longer such thing as a "winning bottle."
I feel like they had this magical willy Wonka shit going on, and some marketing asshole convinced them to change it to a code so they can collect user information.
As much as I love the internet, I'm so fucking sick of this era where marketing is all about getting people to make an account on your platform and join your mailing list.
