I wanted to make a pressure plate pun so bad and just couldn't make it work. I have failed.

That said, this is a comic from my series, Thieves Can’t, which I make with my college buddy and fellow D&D addict, /u/etchant. We’re currently in a run called Thieves Can’t Strip, which is what we do when we’re between large story lines. Right now, we’re transitioning to a twice a week (Monday and Friday) update schedule, so that means there will (finally) be more comics in on our site and in the subreddit than I crosspost to other places. This is pretty happy news for us, and it’s our first pro-active step to applying for the Hiveworks.

If you like the art, then consider having some of it at your table. Here’s a sample of free kobold printable paper minis and the place to go to get their friends if you like them. If you do like them, let us know. We’d love to see them in use, and we’re happy to consider requests.

You can also get all of our minis as we make them, rather than as we decide we have enough for a pack, over on our Patreon, where you can also read our comics ahead of their publish schedule.

I’m running Curse of Strahd and I got my players to rush inside in a blind panic like the world was coming to an end just by doing this:

Night had just fallen. I told them that far off in the distance, they heard a wolf howl at the rising moon.

A few moments later, it was answered by another howl, noticeably a little closer.

And that did the trick. These were of course just normal wolves doing normal wolf things to set the mood, but it scared them out of their minds.

Player: "Why are you rolling?" Me: "I like rolling my dice"

Me thinking: "Okay, they didn't get assaulted by the trolls"
