Just because I have watched it a ton I wanted to break down everything that happens just to really let the whole motion sink in.

As someone else pointed out this was done on a trapeze, which at the place I do aerial stuff at we call this type a circus bar. The two ropes go up more or less vertically giving a lot of stability side to side but still allows for a swing to occur.

She starts off by casually entering an inverted pike. At my way way lower level of performance this is used as a conditioning move. Lots of muscles are having to be fired to maintain the spot she is in. Core, legs, back, and arms.

She then starts the move by starting to straighten out explosively to prevent losing altitude. if you freeze the frame in there you will see her boast mode forearms having to fight the force.

She then drops her left arm first while I believe pulling hard with her right arm (it is hidden by her body at that point) to force the spin.

The part that stands out is how still the bar goes, just getting off of one of these can cause them to swing a great deal.

Her right arm rapidly slides on or just above the par to the opposite end while she maintains the momentum of the spin by moving her left arm up to the bar.

The move finishes out with her going to a normal hand with her legs out right. My guess is she is working on avoiding her legs hitting at the end so she can do this move really low to the ground for that "Holy Shit" moment in a show.

All of these motions are happening in about 1 second. It can't be over expressed the amount of work and practice that had to go in to getting to that point.

I know physics. I’d like to think I’m pretty good with physics. How does she not physics?
