Someone posted something recently about the feeling you get if you pick up someone's cat and they say "Oh my god! I can't believe he's letting you do that, he doesn't like anybody!
I guess if you're a cat person, that's pretty close.
This always makes me feel so good. I have a pomeranian that we got about 2 years ago, and she used to only settle for me. If anyone else at all was available, she'd only pay attention to them, and would only be my friend if I was the only one home or the only one not busy.
But now, she will get up from someone elses lap to come sit with me, and it makes me smile every time. No matter how long of a day I've had, she always knows how to make me feel wanted
