Fun fact: OJ tasting nasty after brushing is due to SLS, a foaming agent in most toothpastes. It binds to the sweet receptors on your tongue without activating them, so you only get the bitter parts of the orange’s flavor. Normally, the bitter is masked by the fruit sugars.
