My dog does this sometimes. I questioned several times whether he was trying to tell me something specific. I tested several theories from food to playing to gas or thinking maybe he was just uncomfortable so tested that too. Turns out it's actually simpler.
You know how you go to work every day and you spend the whole day worrying about paying the bills and not getting fired. You come home, clean the house, do the chores, do errands. Well, it occurred to me that maybe my pupper really really likes me. Turns out he does. I am his job, his worries, his hopes and his dreams. I am his entire life and I may need to socialize him more or he's going to have serious abandonment issues if I die...or go to the bathroom.
