RUMOR: Gwyneth Paltrow to Return to Spider-Man: Far From Home

Gwyneth Paltrow’s career in the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had some turns. While appearing in all three Iron Man movies and the first Avengers, she was absent from Age of Ultron and in Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark made it apparent he and Pepper Potts were on the rocks. As fans, we assumed that she had taken Natalie Portman’s road and was out of the MCU. But, then she appeared at the very end of Spider-Man: Homecoming and in Avengers: Infinity War, she and Tony were planning their wedding.

According to DanielRPK, it’s rumored that Paltrow will return to the MCU in Spider-Man: Far From Home. We don’t know yet Tony’s fate in Avengers 4, but if say Tony does…bite the dust in the fourth Avengers film and Potts is still around, I believe she and Peter Parker would know how much the other meant to Iron Man and perhaps this is a reason for the inclusion? Also, Parker uses a lot of Stark Industry’s tech, which Potts is still in charge of.

Either way, Spider-Man: Far From Home is gaining a lot of traction with the knowledge that Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders are reprising their roles as Nick Fury and Maria Hill. Michael Keaton will return as Vulture and from the looks of it, he’s not the only villain Parker will have to face.

Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters July 5, 2019.

A girl with too many fandoms to count.

That’s great to know. I like Pepper and I hope to see her interact with Peter. But at the same time I’m getting a little more worried about Tony’s fate in Avengers 4.
