[Art] My dad got me into D&D when I was a kid, but hasn't been able to play in years. So I drew this for him on his birthday, along with an offer to run a game for him for the first time.

Like I said, my Dad ran my first campaign for me and a buddy with 1st edition books somewhere around 1994. My buddy quickly dropped from the campaign, so it became a one-on-one campaign that we ran off and on for the next few years. Since then we've played tons of D&D, in many different campaigns, but in the last 2-3 years we haven't done anything together, and I know he's starting to get stir crazy without a campaign.

So for his birthday this year, I resolved to finally run a game for the first time so he could have a chance to play. To accompany the offer, I drew this and gave it to him in a frame.

This is fantastic and touching! My father also ran games for myself and my three siblings all through our childhood. My father is not a man of many words except when playing D&D, and I always loved that.
