Who says you can't go home? And by home, I mean the state where — angered by the sight of flying bread slices — you screamed profanities into a crowd of concertgoers at a food festival.

That's right. Three years after the Great Smash Mouth Bread Incident of 2015, the band is heading back to another Colorado food event.

Smash Mouth, along with REO Speedwagon and LeAnn Rimes, will headline Denver's Taste of Colorado this summer, according to The Denver Post. The food and music festival starts Sept. 1 in the city's Civic Center.

If you were living in Fort Collins in 2015, you likely remember the odd — and viral — unfolding of the band's performance at Taste of Fort Collins, when lead vocalist Steve Harwell unleashed a string of curse words into the family-filled crowd.

Audience members had been given bread samples before the show by a vendor and some were throwing slices in the crowd — a few of which landed on the stage.

Harwell yelled profanities, elicited boos from the crowd, was subdued by a security guard and walked off the stage ahead of the band's encore. The incident spurred some jokes and tweets, including one naming the tirade the #breadpocalypse.

Sounds like his public freakout will almost guarantee someone throws bread at this concert.
