I once hit the wrong button on the card reader because I was having a chat with with the cashier and a neckbeard buying three gallons of Gatorade behind me says, "it's not rocket science." I looked at the cashier and she looked back knowingly and we just kept talking but at a more leisurely pace. Like deep South leisurely.

I don’t see how the others can actually go in front of them both unless the lady says they can as well, as they’d have to pass her too.
