I was in jail for less than 12 hours. The funniest thing about this was everyone who had been in for an extended stay had the motto "you don't lose your girl, you lose your turn".
Assuming it was or something non-violent, I'd do my best to stick with my partner if they were locked up. I don't think loyalty is the right word, I'd stay with them because I love them and I want them in my life.
