Australia doesn’t allow non-vaccinated kids to attend schools. This should be a rule everywhere. I feel for the kids and the idiotic parents are to be blamed. However, it is dangerous to have them around.
Parents who are scared are not envisioning high functioning people with Autism.
They are picturing someone with a child that is low functioning, nonverbal, and highly disabled.
I am lucky, my child is mildly affected. My nephew however, is 17 and can't talk, is a danger to himself and others, and will need full time care for the rest of his life.
I am not defending not vaccinating, I'm pointing out that people who are "scared" of autism are usually thinking of something more significant than Asperger's level ASD.
