I had a friend who had one of these. It was the single most insane, violent reptile I've ever known in my life. I helped him clean this little monster's cage out once, and we had to wear eye protection, ear-muffs and work gloves to deal with that little psycho. The moment he opened the lid, this lizard jumps out at his face like a facehugger and tries to bite his eyes, and failing that jumps to a bookcase and runs to the top, then turns around and jumps on me, again going for the eyes and ears. I got a hold of it and it just started flailing around, biting the crap out of my work gloves.
That demon in a lizard suit sent my buddy to the emergency room twice and he needed stitches both times - once on his eyebrow, the other time below his eye. He eventually got rid of it because he said it wasn't worth going blind over.
This lizard must have been a one-of-a-kind though, because I can't find a single video on youtube of a Knight Anole acting like this. There are videos with them "going crazy" only to have them slightly hissing at the camera. I can't find any vids of them jumping and biting people, so this lizard must have been a special kind of asshole even among their kind.
The picture above triggers me. I'm having flashbacks. Game over man, game over.
