I kinda liked how the original star wars battlefront 2 sorted showed you how the republic transitioned into the empire albeit a particular squad being the 501st but still, it would be awesome.
Legit, I’ve wanted a film or something for ages following on like straight from ROTS with stormtrooper clones and just how the empire started with the clones suddenly becoming bad guys and shit like I feel it’s something big that’s never been touched on
I felt like the transition in Revenge of the Sith was really sudden. Wouldn't mind seeing more on how the Republic became the Empire in the Canon lore. I know obviously there's the "Declaration of the new order" in Episode III but there's more to transitioning to an Empire than just a speech. How did people react to the new order? Did they welcome the peace or hate the new regime? When did the clones stop being used etc.? (I know these questions were answered a lot in legends but it could be different in canon, I'm not sure).
Edit: also how the Empire became run by humans as opposed to aliens as well (who had equal representation in the Republic!)
