Sara is the sweetest ever. She runs an organization called Free Mom Hugs that goes to a bunch of pride events nationwide and tells LGBTQ kids that they are loved and offer them "free mom hugs".
She and her other moms also talk to/work with parents who's kids just came out and want to understand who their kids are or unlearn homophobia.
I've never been so enthusiastically supportive of an LGBTQ+ parents organization, but I've watched them transform families and they do amazing work.
This makes me so sad. I married my wife at 20 in a lesbian relationship (I've since realized I am trans) and my parents were nothing but supportive, albeit a bit ticked that I was 20. I can't imagine trying to establish a life with someone when what you come from is the opposite of stability. If anyone needs a sibling to roll up to their wedding, hmu. I'll bring my 64 year old dad to be your grandpa as well.

Yo me too; I'll be your dad. Like most dads I'll cry a little then eat and drink a whole bunch.
