I just tried to talk to my mom about a hard day at work, and she told me to go cuddle the dog without even looking up from iPad solitaire.
Edit: this blew up, I forgot I was on r/funny. Work wasn’t that bad, and it’s fine. I’ll just take this opportunity to say that if you tell someone you’ll be there if they need to talk, be there if they need to talk.
