I came incredibly close to going to school for graphic design at a really popular (expensive) art school. My dad talked to me and told me I should start at a smaller less expensive school to get my core classes out of the way, and if I still want to go into graphic design by the time I finish my core classes I can transfer. I have yet to transfer. No regrets.
