I use self checkouts when I have a few items because I don't want to bother a cashier with such small tasks such as "hey here is this 1 candy bar I wanted" but if I have a ton of stuff I will go to a regular checkout because I don't want to scan 14 boxes of ramen as individual ramen packets

These things have saved me from so many human interactions that I really didn't want to partake in
