Shoutout to a bro who returned my father’s wallet with all the cards and cash inside. It has only been one day since he lost it and we recieved it in a priority mail the next day!
There is still about $300 cash in the wallet. My parents and I are thinking about what kind of thank you gift we can give back to express our gratitude. Additionally, we definitely want to payback the $15.25 postage that paid for the one-day shipping
I find it amazing that somebody went out their to spend $15 + price for the box of their money with all the paper work in order to get your father his wallet.
Ok so yesterday I was driving and the car in front of me turned left and I saw something fall off the top of their car. I honked but they didn’t stop. I jumped out and grabbed it (a gold sparkly wallet thing) and got back in my car and hurried after them. I followed them down two blocks in the opposite direction of where I was headed and pulled up next to them at a stoplight. I waved my arms and knocked on the window with the wallet. The lady got this disgusted look on her face and rolled down the window and yelled, ‘Hey! That’s my wallet!!’ Like she thought I stole it from her and then chased her down to taunt her?! Hahaha I handed it to her through the window and started to explain what happened but she sped off. 🙄
