The basic beliefs of Nazis have never gone away. They've just gone out of the public eye. Now, with people coming out of the woodwork saying "I believe the same as you, I just don't like being called the same as you", they are getting into the spotlight again.
As unfortunate as it is, we have to accept that they have always been here, we've just ignored them since they have smaller echo chambers then. Social media has made them seem mainstream and mainstream media is giving them a voice, thereby validating their existence.
