Courage is a good dog.

Courage is not the absence of fear. Courage is being afraid, but still doing it. Courage the dog was always a great example of what true courage and bravery is to me growing up. Being so scared you literally scream your skeleton out of your body, but still going to save the ones you love.

I once read a theory here on Reddit that all the monsters that courage faces are normal people visiting them (that's why Muriel and Eustace seems pretty nonchalant about most of the things).

He sees the world from a dog's perspective (of course) and sees everything new as a danger to his parents. They are too old to take him to walks and hence he hasn't seen anything beyond his own house.

Something like this. I don't know anything about his wisdom computer though.
