The mother of 6-year-old Brinley Williams said her daughter finally raised enough after months of planning to give back to St. Francis Children’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kristen Williams, of Hugo, Oklahoma, told NBC News that her daughter, who has dealt with kidney issues since she was born, had to spend a number of days in the hospital in July of 2017, raised money to buy 15 American Girl dolls. After getting her own doll, she realized what a kind gesture it was and decided to give back. First, she raised about $400 through a lemonade stand. She then worked at a restaurant owned by a family friend. After community members learned what the girl was doing, she ended up raising another $1,500 in tips, earning enough to buy the dolls. The hospital is planning on Brinley to hand deliver the dolls later in the month.

If she got them at American Girl, I think $1,900 gets her 3 dolls

So the Health Dept should cite her for selling food without a license. The restaurant should be fined for using child labor and the IRS needs to levy a tax on that windfall.

So what other bureaucratic nonsense can be used to kill this girl's entrepreneurial spirit?

Edit: F'ing /s people!

That is such a nice thing to do and she's done so well. If every person on the earth contributed something to needy causes and just did whatever they could, there's nothing that couldn't be accomplished, nothing. But people just say 'oh, the situation in this world is hopeless, nothing can be done' and they do nothing. This little girl is so inspiring to me at least. If one little girl could raise that much money to help people, how much easier it would be for adults to raise much much more. People should take a lesson from this.
