This is a 1980 press photo of Delta Burke as Bonnie Sue Chisholm in "The Chisholms" which was a CBS western miniseries that aired in 1979. When it resumed in 1980 Delta replaced Stacy Nelkin as Bonnie Sue.
She would have been about 24 in this photo.

Not in this photo, but I remember in her early days on Designing Women thinking she looked a lot like Vivien Leigh/Scarlett O’Hara.
