I didn't realize until I had walked out the door and now it's always there. It's on both sides. According to the optometrist's office, I was the first person ever to complain about a permanent scratch in new, expensive lenses. What kind of sick people would want this?

As someone who has worn glasses my entire life, I would seriously want to punch the people in the face who thought this was a good idea. Somehow, I bet the designers don't actually wear glasses. I almost want to think these were demo glasses or something but I guess not.

Hi! Lenscrafters lab tech here. Check your receipt... those are rayban authentic lenses. We're all being pushed to sell the crap out of them, and I don't know if you were even told that's what you were getting when they charged you for them. You absolutely have 30 days to return or downgrade, and you CAN have anti-reflective coating without going into the authentic lens...
