TLDR: shot this around 1 year ago, took a lot of time to plan. Was one of the most amazing things I had ever seen in nature. Shot is a pano of 5 (vertical) shots to get the complete valley and Milky Way. No weird things done in photoshop. The line you see on the horizon was a fog/haze layer that becomes very apparent (you see the top on the left sticking out of it) because it was shot from around 3600m high above the ground. You can compare this with the sight you see from an airplane.
