Just saw the movie and thought this would be a unique interpretation of The Stacks.
It's actually titled Favelização by Ross Damien Jordan. Notice the famous Rio de Janeiro Jesus statue in the distant background

This is way more how I pictured the stacks after reading the book. The movie made them look almost fun. Almost.
