She still has a trach and is vent dependent but who cares. She has come so far and we are so proud.

I hope a doctor didn't tell you that, because we have been specifically trained not to give absolute prognoses like that. I've seen questions about this on exams, and something like that is always the wrong answer.

FYI, my cousin was born 3-4 months early and given a 1% chance to live and 0% chance to live normally. He got his masters in social work last year. Doctors just guess a lot of times like anyone else.

His hand eye coordination is complete and total shit but no one can prove it’s related to his birth or not.
