I’m curious why they opted for this kind of flora to be grown at ISS. Also, would this plant receive a different light (full unfiltered spectrum) in relation to the light the plant would receive on Earth (I.e. the stratosphere’s influence on waves of light).

I read somewhere that growing plants in space is quite problematic due to the lack of gravity. But this looks so cool!
